The Online Learning in Applied Forestry Educational Tool (OLAF) consists of a set of courses developed to assist people in understanding their resources (land and forests), as well as collecting and analyzing information on their resources. Courses are designed for private landowners, extension agents, students, educators, and foresters (public and private). Participants can register and take a single course or work through all available content.

Courses include (1) land survey systems, (2) land measurements, (3) GPS, (4) GIS, (5) tree and wood-related measurements, (6) fixed area sampling with plots, (7) fixed area sampling with strips, (8) point sampling, (9) basic statistics, and (10) economics.

We are currently developing additional courses on artificial intelligence, precision forestry, remote sensing, and data management.
