Online Learning in Applied Forestry

OLAF is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture through the Foundational Grant program. We developed OLAF initially based on topics that were covered in a forest measurements course offered by the University of Georgia. 

OLAF can be informative for people of any age and any background, should they have an interest in applied forestry. The courses in OLAF complement a forest measurements course that might be offered through a 2-year or 4-year college program. However, we made a concerted effort to make each topic within each course approachable to anyone.

OLAF provides 0.5 to 2.0 forestry continuing education credits for those interested in maintaining their certification or registration status.
