Through the U.S. Department of Agriculture McIntire-Stennis program we are exploring the development and integration of operations research methodology that can advance forest planning processes, leading to the development of forest plans that are feasible, efficient, and sustainable from a spatial point of view, given the objectives and complex constraints of forest landowners.
