PERSEUS - Promoting Economic Resilience and Sustainability of the Eastern US Forests

The PERSEUS project is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Sustainable Agricultural Systems program. The project is a collaborative effort between Purdue University, the University of Maine, and the University of Georgia.

There are four main objectives in the PERSEUS project (1) measurement, (2) modeling, (3) management, and (4) mindset.

We intend to develop research, education, and extension products that will not only assist landowners and policy makers in understanding potential ecosystem service outcomes of managing eastern U.S. forests, but also that will advance the digital mindset of forestry professionals through activities that inform forestry education.
